Yesterday I picked the boys up from daycare, and I bumped into a fellow mom, who I usually have a brief "hello, how are you?" conversation. I was lucky enough to be asked to come and join her and another mother for lunch at the local museum with the kids.
We chatted and asked the usual questions. I was the new subject, so they gave me a pretty thorough back around check. =) They were very pleasant and I actually found them pretty cool, so I invited them over for a BBQ this weekend. So if this party is a success, I will be IN the mommy crowd. Morgan will then have friends for play-dates, and I will have Mommy-friends to meet for coffee.
So much pressure! haha. It feels like entering High School all over again, but worse, since I represent me, my kids, and my food! hahahahahahaha
