Open House at daycare.

Today I was at the boy's daycare to look at the crafts they have done over the past 6 months. They really did a great job displays all the arts and crafts. There was also lots of pictures of the activities they have been doing the past 2 months.

It was nice to meet the other parents too, since I have just started to mingle and talk to them a bit more than the average hello. I always hate going through the motions of meeting new people, but unfortunately I put myself in that position, so I have to use my charm to make new friends all the time. haha. Hopefully I won't scare them away. I guess I can bribe them with food.

Food is love, love is food. No?

I suppose this is why I married a chef.


(The children have collected material from nature, which they painted, cut and pasted. We have chosen animals and insects from the songs and rhymes the children recognize.)

3 Dagar Feber

In Swedish it is called the "3 days fever."
That is what Perry had the past 3 days. 60 hours of a super high fever that made him sleep for 48 hours straight, and only breastfed and wanted to be held. Honestly I am exhausted from his neediness, but I can't really be mad at him since it isn't his fault.

The fever finally broke today, so he has this rash on his face and torso now. It kinda looks like salami freckles? haha. Count on my to use food to describe a rash. =)

I really don't know what this is called in English. All of my kids had it before they were 1 years old. It is a common childhood virus.

Does anyone know what this is called?

This is Perry pissed off since I decided not to hold him for 2 seconds.

Yummy Berries

Kim has finished digging up my area for my berries. I finally have my raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries planted. I added some herbs, and some flowers. I am waiting for the warmer weather to plant nicer flowers.

Anyways, here is what it looks like now.

I also added pics of my ugly lawn. haha. We are hoping the new grass will grow within the next few weeks. =)
