We usually keep it low key and just try to have a kid-free lunch together or something. But this year, we forgot and did nothing. Luckily, Kim's sisters were here for dinner, so at least it wasn't a mundane evening. Plus, Kim was home for dinner. That in itself is a rare thing.
I am counting my blessings.
